I just found out about Steve's passing. Please accept my deepest sympathy in your loss. Steve lived at my house with my wife, myself and my children when he first moved to Charleston. We were in a band "Tobruk" together 1976-1978 and we rehearsed at my house. Steve was a great guy, great musician, and a great friend. I will always cherish his memory. God bless, Gerry Davis

I worked with Ziggy at BARH for several years. He was such a nice guy and enjoyed his friendship and knowing him. This is late because I moved from Beckley to Blfd. and just ran across this looking for another friend that recently passed.

I will treasure the memories of all the jam sessions and time we spent together. Ziggy was a fantastic guitar player and musician. He had such an amazing natural ability to entertain. I have not met anyone who has watched Zig play a live performance, that was not blown away by his talent and incredible stage presence. He was the real deal...the best I've ever known. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. My deepest sympathy goes out to his family.
