Lavette & H.E.- I recently learned of Barbara's passing and wanted to express my condolences. She was such a big part of my teen years (as were both of you as well) and someone I have always thought about over the years. She always brought a smile to my face. I want both of you to know that had I known, I would have been at her services. She will be dearly missed. May god give you strength during the path ahead.

I met Barbara Melton in 1998 when employed with Value City Dept.store. This lovely lady would come into the store on a regular basis and always was the same kind, smiling, friendly face everytime she entered the store. She even invited me into her home for a visit. Barbara was a one-of-a-kind indeed. It was a pleasure knowing her during her time on this earth. REAST IN PEACE BARB...............
