Fleming, Laura Viola

Laura Viola King Fleming, 25 of Columbus, OH, formerly of Ravencliff went home to become one of God’s Angels on Monday, November 2, 2009 in Columbus. Born on October 9, 1984 in Beckley she was the daughter of Madeline Atkins King of Arnett and the late Jarrell Lee King. Laura was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Donald E. and Lava Eudora Moore Atkins and her paternal grandparents, George and Laura B. Polk King. Survivors left to cherish her memory, in addition to her mother, include her husband Bruce Fleming of Columbus; three sons: Jonathon, Jacob and Elijah all at home; a brother, Gerald L. Rowe and his companion Jennifer Massey of Columbus; two sisters: Lava Bailey and her companion Jeff Massey of Arnett and LeAnn Sizemore and her companion David Kennedy of N. Sandbranch Road, Beckley; a very special cousin and friend Kristina Brooks of Ravencliff; nieces and nephews: Kayla, Caleb, Kaitlin, Hope, Derek, Lily, Kyla, Tanner, Rebekah, Elijah and Isabella. She is also survived by a host of friends. A celebration of Laura’s life will be conducted at 1:00 pm Saturday, November 7th in the Melton Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Ernest Francis officiating. Burial will follow in the Polk Mountain Family Cemetery in Ravencliff, WV. Friends may call Friday evening from six to nine pm at the funeral home.
