At the end of the day when Shelma’s family remembers her it is one word that comes to mind, Energetic! Her life was always full, lived to the max! Pallbearers will be family members and friends. The family suggests that donations of sympathy can be made to the Raleigh County Education Federal Credit Union, 105 Adair St., Beckley, WV 25801, Attn: Abigail The family would like to publicly acknowledge the Cancer Treatment Center of America, Philadelphia, PA for their compassion, care and battle to save Shelma. The family would also like to thank the Bowers Hospice House for making Shelma’s last days so comfortable. And so now, we must say good bye, to this wonderful wife, mother, sister, teacher, co-worker and friend. Our lives will never be the same. Not because she died, but rather because she lived.
