Patty Ann Larrick Cook, of 200 College Avenue, Beckley, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, January 30, 2012. Born April 30, 1924 in Beckley, she was the daughter of the late Eugene Guyer Larrick, Sr. and Nell Harlow Larrick. Mrs. Cook was a member of the Woodrow Wilson High School Class of 1942 and attended Roanoke Business School in Roanoke Virginia. She was employed in Beckley at the Coca Cole Bottling Plant for many years before moving to Charleston, West Virginia, where she worked for both Woodrums Furniture and Boll Furniture. She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Clarence Q. Cook, a son Clarence Patrick Cook and two brothers, E.G. (Gene) Larrick, Jr and Donald E. Larrick. She is survived by her son, Steven Larrick Cook, and his wife, Sandra of Charleston, West Virginia, as well as, seven grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She is also survived by, an Uncle J.S. “Syd” Larrick of Crosslanes, WV. Services will be Friday, February 3, 2012 at 3pm at Melton Mortuary with graveside service to follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Family will receive family and friends from 1pm until the time of service. Pallbearers will be Greg Larrick, Tim Larrick, Ed Price, and Christopher Price.
