On Saturday, January 23, 2010, Renea Brown Radford of Beckley passed away at the Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital following a short illness. She was 34 years of age. Born Olivia Renea Brown on June 8, 1975, she was youngest of two children born to Joe Edmund Brown of Riverside, California and Janet Sumner Brown of Beckley. Renea as she was affectionately know spent her childhood at Sprague where she attended the Sprague Freewill Baptist Church. In her leisure time she enjoyed walking, was a lover of animals and enjoyed watching game shows on television. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Anthony Scott Radford; she was the mother of three precious children, Anthony Scott, Brittany Brook and Cierra; her brother, Gregory Wayne Brown and his daughter, Isabella Louise of Hesperia, California also survive. Memorial services will be Saturday, January 30th at 2:00 p.m. at the Sprague Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Fred Lovell officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
