Bullick, Ines Anna

Ines Anna Bullick of Maxwell Hill, formerly of Eccles, passed away Friday, February 19, 2010 at the Raleigh General Hospital. She was 89 years of age. Born on January 9, 1921 in Lynch, KY, She was the daughter of the late Anna and Mike Goosky. Mrs. Bullick was a homemaker and loved cooking. She also loved watching the mountaineers and enjoyed the company of her beloved French bulldog, “Mickey Perry”. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, John “Peanie” Bullick in 2006 and by two sisters: Frances Okulovich and Jessie Herron. Survivors include her son, John Bullick of Beckley; two daughters: Sherrie Barr and husband Danny of Sophia and Linda Bullick of Beckley; two grandchildren: Tata Barr and companion Mark Ford and Gary Bullick whom she raised; nieces: Patsy Bailey of Fairdale, Mary Ann Farmer of Fairdale, Anna Marie and Sandy Okulovich of Cleveland, OH and by nephews: Donald Lee Strimel of Charleston, Bobby Herron, Andy and Tommy Okulovich of Cleveland, OH. There will be no services. According to Mrs. Bullick’s wishes, she will be cremated. The family would like to thank Dr. Richard Wisman for his care of our mother for many years. The family would also like to thank the staff of Raleigh General Hospital for their care of Mrs. Bullick, the nurses and assistants on the 4th floor, Critical Care Step-down and Coronary Care Unit, in particular the ones we saw frequently were Marie, Shirley, Nikki and many others. The family request that donations of sympathy be made to the humane Society of Beckley or to your favorite charity.
