Carolyn Jean Lambert

Carolyn Jean Pierce-Lambert, 71, of MacArthur, WV joined her heavenly family on January 1, 2023 following a short illness. She was born April 1, 1951 to Pete Pierce and Pearl Pierce-Richmond. She was a long time resident of Raleigh County and a homemaker of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her father Pete Pierce, mother Pearl Richmond, husband Melvin Lambert, son Gary Stump, daughter Pamela Meadows, and grandson Dakota Stump. She is survived by brothers Roger and wife Artie Pierce of MacArthur, Wayne Pierce of Beckley, and Ronald Pierce of Beckley; grandchildren Kristen Davis, Samantha Meadows, Bryan and wife Tara Meadows, and Hunter Stump; great-grandchildren Harper Meadows, Alexis Mitchell, and Kinley Meadows; chosen daughter of the heart Lucy Fitzwater; and an extended list of loved family and friends. The family would like to think CAMC and Bowers Hospice House for their wonderful care they provided to Carolyn as well as all the family. The family would also like to thank Lucy Fitzwater for her love and devotion to Carolyn. Arrangements being made by Melton Mortuary. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
