Larry Joseph Sears

Larry Joseph Sears, 74 of Oak Hill, WV passed away on April 6th, 2024 at Mon Regional Healthcare Center in Morgantown, WV after a long illness. He was born in Mount Hope, West Virginia on November 30th, 1949, a son of the late John William Sears, and Marina Hill Sears. Larry was a former taxi driver and most of his years drove coal trucks. He was a loving husband and father, who enjoyed working on old vehicles, camping, hunting, and fishing. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by Danny Lee Sears, and Vivian Faith Donelow. Those left behind to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 52 years Susan Sears, daughter Felicia Treadway, and husband Clint Treadway, son Larry Sears Jr., and wife Annette Sears, 2 grand-kids Jd Milam and wife Addison Cox, and Sarah Hearn, and husband Duane Hearn II, three brothers Johnny and wife Linda, Bobby, and wife Debbie, James and wife Kim, one sister Angela Sears Sharp, and many other extended family and friends who will all miss Larry dearly. A funeral service will take place for Larry on Friday April 12th, 2024 at 1:00pm in the Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Oak Hill, WV.
