Lincoln Eugene White

Nicholas Kent White and Lincoln Eugene White were passed from the arms of their parents into the arms of Jesus shortly after making their appearance in the world on Sunday, June 5, 2022.

Though only on this side of eternity for a very short while, Nicholas and Lincoln have left an impact on their families’ lives that will last a lifetime.

Those mourning the loss of Nicholas and Lincoln include daddy Dustin White, mommy Meghan White, and sissy Sarah Grace White, of Glen Daniel; mamaw Tina White and papaw Mervin White, of Ikes Fork; nana Sheryl Brown and poppy Wesley Brown, of Saxon; great-grandma Joyce Athey, of Glen Daniel; great-grandpa Wesley “Sam” Brown, of Glen Daniel; aunts Holly Steele and Patti Vance, and a host of cousins and other family.

Nicholas and Lincoln’s parents would like everyone to know that their faith in Christ was not contingent upon their boys receiving physical healing on earth. They are thankful for the promise of seeing them again one day in Glory. As David said in 2 Samuel 12:23 after losing a child, “I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.” They are also thankful for the promise that Jesus will never leave them, and that the Holy Spirit will comfort them continually. In these and every other promise in scripture, God is faithful.

It is their great hope that God will use the lives’ of Nicholas and Lincoln to help bring someone to true repentance and genuine salvation through faith in Christ Jesus, for this is the only way to eternal life.

Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”

Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Romans 5:8 “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

Romans 10:13 “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

A visitation will take place at Fairdale Freewill Baptist Church on Friday, June 10, 2022 from 4 pm - 5 pm. Service will begin at 5 pm with a private interment to follow at the White Family Cemetery. Words of comfort and condolences may be offered to the family by visiting www.meltonmortuary.com
