Clifford Eugene Myers

December 6, 1961 - June 14, 2019

Clifford Eugene Myers, born in Charleston, WV died suddenly on June 14th, 2019. Better known as "Cliff" or "Duke", he was a fun loving, happy, kind hearted husband, father, Papa and friend. Cliff spent his life working in the restaurant industry, starting as a chef and working upward through management. He ran several restaurants including Western Sizzlin, Ryan's Steakhouse and Golden Corral. Cliff prided himself on being the "grillmaster" at family events.

Cliff's memory will be forever cherished by his wife of 37 years, Sherry, a daughter, Candice Carter, her husband, Brandon and their two daughters, Sierra and Kaylee.  Although Cliff's parents are deceased, he was extremely close to his father and mother-in-law, Eddie and Leatha Davis.

Those who knew Cliff loved him. His smile always warm and a joke usually in the works. He was an avid WVU fan and rarely missed an opportunity to cheer them on. Our solace is found in the fact that after 15 years, he will be reunited with his daughter Felecia who passed away in 2004.

Visitation will be Tuesday 6/18/2019 from 11-1 PM with the funeral to follow at 1PM at the Melton Mortuary Chapel.
