Drema Ann McCallister

Drema Ann McCallister, 80, formerly of Allen Avenue, Beckley, graduated to the presence of her Lord and Savior, Thursday, July 4th, 2019. Born August 22nd, 1938 in Beckley she was the daughter of the late Henry A. McCallister, Sr. and Macil F. McCallister.

Drema spent the last 28 years of her work career at Sears, Beckley, WV. She loved her church family at House of Worship, Beckley, WV where she was one of the original members.

She is preceded in death by one daughter Brenda L. McCallister.

She is survived by 4 sisters; Mary Lou Haley of Hinton, Carolyn Smith and husband Clifford of Hurricane, Martha Burleson and husband Benjamin of Beckley, and Sandra Gilkerson, and husband Gene of Beckley. Two Brothers; Henry A. McCallister, Jr. and wife Peggy of Beckley, and Donald F. McCallister and wife Joanne of Beckley. Two grandchildren Matthew Pugh of Beckley, and Emily Brogan of Huntington.  10 nieces and nephews and 11 great-nieces and nephews also survive.

Per her wishes, a celebration service will be held Sunday, July 14, 2019, at her church, The House of Worship, located at 200 South Kanawha Street, in Beckley.  Visitation with the family begins at 2:00 pm followed by a service at 3:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Carpenter’s Corner Soup Kitchen, her favorite.
