Frances Lorene "Tuffy" Forren

Frances Lorene (Tuffy) Forren, Born Jan. 26, 1947 (72 years on earth),  went to be with our Lord in Heaven and gained her wings on 5-13-2019 after a long battle with cancer.

She was preceeded in death by her parents; Lorene Perdue (Walter) and Edgar M. Forren (Janet), Ex-Husbands; Mason McKinney and Delbert Martin, Brothers; John M. (Big Johnny) Forren and Eddie C. Forren, a Sister, Carolyn L. Catlett, and twin Daughters; Polly Lyvonne and Theresa Ann.

She is survived by her son; Randall McKinney (Darlene Logan) of Louisa, VA, as well as her siblings; Patricia Norris of Beckley, WV, Trina Tarpley (Kell) of Warner Robins, GA, Scott Forren (Patsy) of Charlotte, NC, and George Forren of Concorde, NC.

Survivors also include; Aunts, Margaret Lafferty and Marcella Meadows, and a very special Brother-in-law, Jimmy Catlett, as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends that she considered family.

She had love in her heart for all animals and also leaves behind a special pet dog Terrier Mix, Star, that she considered her baby.

Tuffy was the historian of our family, the thread that held everyone together. She loved talking of the history and genealogy of our family, as well as collecting pictures of everyone and lovingly displaying them for all to see. She was never too busy for company from family or friends.

She always had a smile and brought warmth, love, generosity, and kindness to every person she met and will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by everyone.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00, Friday, May 17, 2019 at The Chapel at Bowers House, 454 Cranberry Dr., Beckley, WV.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Hospice of Southern WV, in light of their compassion and caring hospitality to Tuffy and our family in their hours of need.
