Garland Eugene Adkins

Garland Eugene Adkins 61 of Bolt passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2019, in Morgantown WV following a short illness. Born December 24, 1956, in Beckley he was the son of the late Carlos Edward and Marie Ruth Adkins.

Garland was an underground coal miner, welder, and fabricator. He was a gentle soul who was a good husband and provider that loved his family.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years Floretta Kay Adkins. One son; Joseph Eugene Adkins of VA, one stepdaughter Sheila of NC, five brothers; Carlos Edward, Robert Lewis, Herbert, Danny Lee, and Dallas Ray Adkins all of WV. Two grandchildren, Macie and Braylan.

He will be sadly missed and loved in our memories.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 8, 2019, at the Bolt Church of God with Pastor Ricky Peters officiating.
