John O'Dell Obituary

John Mark O'Dell went to be with his Lord and Savior, Friday, April 5th, 2019. He is now at peace.

John was born on September 22, 1976 in Beckley, WV. A son of Gary Alva and Rosemary O'Dell. In additions to his parents he is survived by a sister, Robin O'Dell Carper and her husband Jeff Carper as well as a brother Brian O'Dell and his wife Cindy O'Dell as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. John was a 1994 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School . O'Dell served in the Navy and completed air traffic control school. He attended Mountain State, Concord and Marshall Universities pursuing a business degree.

John had an amazing love and talent for music and played with multiple bands throughout the Virginias. He was known and loved by many and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Visitation will be on Sunday April 14th, 2019 from 1-3 PM with the funeral service starting at 3 PM at the Melton Mortuary Chapel with the burial Sunset Memorial Park.
