Kenneth Lee Adkins

Kenneth Lee Adkins, 64 of Pax went to be with the Lord Thursday March 14th, 2019 following a long illness. Born April 11, 1954 in Charleston he was the son of the late Herl and Josie Adkins.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by 9 siblings.

Kenneth was a Christian and a man that always loved spending time with his family and friends.

Before his illness he was an avid outdoorsman that loved to coon hunt. He will be greatly missed.

Kenneth is survived by his wife of 13 years Donna Keffer Adkins of Pax. Three step daughters; Michelle Russell of Charlotte NC, Melissa Parham of Clarksburg TN, and K’lea Adkins of Sissonville WV. Three sisters; Linda Williams of Lester, Glenda Adkins of Beckley, and Loretta Adkins of Pax. Nine grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive.  

Funeral services will be held Saturday March the 23rd. 2019 at 2 PM at the Melton Mortuary and Cremation Center Chapel with Rev. Jerry Tyree officiating. Burial will follow in the Hot Coals Cemetery in Sophia. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12 noon until time of service on Saturday.
