May Crotty Childress, 92 of Beckley passed away Monday, April 8th, 2019 at the Bowers Hospice House following a long illness. Born September 16th, 1926 in Dry Pond, West Virginia she was the daughter of the late Namon Edward Crotty and Lilly Belle Wickline Crotty Miller.
Mrs. Childress was preceded in death by first husband Newt Kestner and her second husband Leonard Childress. Two brothers; Bill and Harold Crotty and one sister Una Williams.
She is survived by her sister-in-law Lenora Crotty of Beckley and a special friend's Eric and Glenna Lee Henderson of Beckley. Several cousins, nieces, and nephews also survive.
Graveside services and burial will be held Thursday, April 11th beginning at 1:30 P.M. in the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery on Harper Road in Beckley WV with Paul Zutaut officiating.
