Robert Lee Stone

Robert Lee Stone 34 of Whitby was called home Sunday, February 10th, 2019. He was born October 13th, 1984 in Laplata, Maryland to Patricia Stone (stepfather Bill Carrico) of Shady Springs and the late James Martin Stone.

Robert was all about his family. He loved everybody and never met a stranger. He was always smiling and could light up a room when he walked in. He was an amazing son, brother, father and uncle. He would do anything to help people out. He had a personality bigger than life itself. 
 

Robert is survived by his girlfriend, Edie West and her mother Sue West and husband Dee of Whitby and her father Leroy West also of Whitby, one daughter Madison Hale of Peterstown and one son and best friend Tyler West and fiancée Cassi Saye at home, and Roberts wonderful grandmother Shirley Underwood of Silver Springs MD. Four brothers; Joseph Stone of Beckley, Willie Stone and wife Tammy of Cool Ridge, James J. Stone and wife Kristin of Beckley, and James Patrick Stone and wife Tina of Bryan’s Road MD. Three sisters; Patricia Shinault and husband Clyde of Sophia, Crystal Smith and husband David of Soak Creek, and Barbara Munoz and husband Jesus of Beckley. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and his most beloved niece his pride and joy Sarah Ferguson of Soak Creek.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, February 16th, 2019 in the Melton Mortuary and Cremation Center chapel with Rev. Paul Zutaut officiating. Friends may call from noon until time of service on Saturday. Burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Park in Beckley at a later date.
