On Tuesday, September 24th, 2019, after a long struggle with cancer, our most precious, Rosa Lea Bragg Miller passed into eternity at the age of 64 years.

The 5th of 16 children, Rosa Lea Bragg was born at Crab Orchard on March 1st, 1955.   She is the beloved daughter of Lona Plumley Bragg and the late Samuel Everett Bragg. In addition to her father, Rosa was preceded in death by a niece, Danni Lynn Bragg and a nephew, Dwayn Eye.

Rosa spent her childhood at Bragg, her formal education began at the Richmond School.

In addition to her mother, Rosa leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 30 years, Benny Ray Miller; her children, Robert Ray Martin and Diana Plumley and her husband, Dustin; there are three grandchildren.

Rosa was the fond sister of Brenda Bennett, Jo Ann Plumley, Edward L. Bragg, Linda Surratt, Lillian Bragg, Lilly Justice, Terry Bragg, Emma Hinkle, Rebecca Bragg, Juanita Bragg, Connie Bragg, Woodrow Bragg, Janet Johnson, Diana Bragg and Russell Bragg; a large extended family survives as well.

A “Service of Remembrance” will be Monday, September 30th at 1:00 pm in the Melton Mortuary Chapel.   Pastor Brent Hundall will be officiating.   Rosa will be laid to rest in the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity.   The family will be receiving friends at 12 noon on Monday at the mortuary.
