Terry Alderman Obituary

Terry J. Alderman 62, of Beckley past away Thursday February 14th, 2019 following a long illness. Born September 21, 1956 in Japan he was the son of the late Johnny P. and Fuku Kubota Alderman.

A graduate of The Marine Military Academy in Harlingen, Texas, Terry went onto serve his country in the United States Marine Corps before coming to West Virginia.  Terry was an avid sportsman who enjoyed fishing, coaching many sports including soccer, softball, and basketball. He was an amateur historian with a great love of history.

He was preceded in death by one brother Eura R. Alderman in 2002.

He is survived by three daughters; April, Erica, and Megan Alderman all of Beckley. One sister Lulu Alderman Bates of Fort Lauderdale FL. Three grandchildren; Jordan, Raigan, and Justice.  One nephew Jeff Bates a great nephew Jaxson Bates both of Ft Lauderdale, FL. Terry’s former wife and friend Tammy Fekete of Bradley also survives.

Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Thursday February 21st, 2019 at the Melton Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Paul Zutaut officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park in Beckley. Friends may call from noon until time of service of Thursday.
