On Monday, February 4th, 2019, our most cherished “Nana,” Jo Ann Tate went to her eternal rest at the Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston, West Virginia. She was in her 83rd year.

Born on December 14th, 1935, at Rhodell, Violet Jo Ann Lester was the daughter of the late Henry Linden Minnie Kathleen Perdue Lester.

Jo Ann was beloved. In later years, she has made her home with her granddaughter, Tiffany C. Coffin in Hurricane, West Virginia. In addition to Tiffany, Jo Ann she leaves behind her grandson, James Tate; a son, Jimmy Tate as well as a great grandchild, Lilie Richards.

This past Thursday, February 7th, Jo Ann was laid to rest in the Sunset Memorial Park in Beckley with those she loved so well in attendance.

May she forever rest in peace. We loved you but God loved you best.
