Virginia Lee "Jennie" Graham

      Virginia Lee (Jennie) Graham, 82, of Grandview passed away peacefully on November 1, 2019 at The Brian Center Respiratory Rehabilitation Center in Fincastle, Virginia.
 Born on September 29, 1937 in Grandview, she was the daughter of the late Ray and Mary Lee (Reed) Mitchell, also of Grandview. 
      Jennie spent the last 24 years as a kitchen supervisor at Southern Regional Jail in Beaver, only with a short respite to stay at home and care for her ailing mother.  She made many friends over the years while managing the restaurant at Raleigh County Memorial Airport where she started as a cashier when the new terminal opened.  She also was a former employee at  Beckley Manufacturing, and a member of Grandview Christian Church.
     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her late husband Jerry Graham, son Mitchell Graham, sister Patricia Cole, and brother Michael Mitchell.
     Those left to cherish her memory are daughers Connie (Graham) Snodgrass and husband Tracy of Rock Hill, SC; and Sherri (Graham) Pierce and husband Jim of Grandview; Grandchildren Jennifer Kelly and husband Patrick; Justin Massie and wife Chrystal; Julie Stovall and husband Ben; and Jay Pierce and fiance Violet Baldwin.  Great-grandchildren include: Paxton and Emmalyn Kelly; Gabby Massie; Alyssa, Summer and Michael Bolen; Savannah, Ryder, Tyson and Sawyer Stovall; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
      Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday November 5 at Melton Mortuary in Beckley with Pastor Randy Mann officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be:  Justin Massie, Jay Pierce, Patrick Kelly, Ben Stovall, Kevin Fitzwater and Rick Scott.
     Friends may call from 11:00 am-1:00 pm at the funeral home.
     The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the entire staff at the Brian Center for providing such loving care, and treating her with all the dignity and respect as they would their own.  Their obvious love for her has been very touching and appreciated.
