Wanzie Jane (Clay) Setliff

Wanzie Jane (Clay) Setliff, 77 of Cool Ridge, WV, died on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Raleigh General Hospital after a long illness.

Born on March 12, 1941 in Dameron, WV she was the daughter of the late Andrew Marvin Clay and Frances Marie (Workman) Clay.

Mrs Setliff was a graduate of Trap Hill High School and was employed at Hampton Inn for many years.  She attended the First Baptist Church in Shady Spring, WV.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Lillian (Clay) Toney, brothers Clarence William, James Connie and J Edgar Clay.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband Walter W Setliff, her brother Calfee Clay of Beckley, WV and 14 nephews and nieces.

Memorial Services will be conducted at First Baptist Church, Shady Spring, WV on April 6th, 2019 at 2:00 PM with Pastor D Elwell and Rev Orville H Setliff officiating.  A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall.

The Setliff and Clay families extend special thanks to all who visited, called and sent cards while she was fighting diabetes and heart disease.
