Alice Faye Dillon Jarrell of Beckley passed away on July 26th, 2024 at the Bowers Hospice House. She was born May 9th 1941 in Colcord WV. She was the daughter of Clyde and Dottie Pettry Dillon. She was of the Christian faith.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 37 years Ernest Jarrell, her son Ernest Jarrell "Bubby", her daughter Vanetta Jo Jarrell Burns, her son Kenneth Lee Jarrell, two brothers George Dillon, and Charles Dillon of Colcord, five sisters Opal Dillon Honaker of CA, Bernice Dillon Stover of Gap Mills, Emma Dillon Pettry of Colcord, Flora Dillon Alexander of Colcord, Maxine "Micky" Dillon of Concord NC, Judy Dillon Holsten of Colcord.

She is survived by her son Timothy Jarrell and wife Lora Jarrell of Rock Hill SC, two granddaughters Nikki Adams of SC, Samantha Fields of NC, three grandsons Michael Jarrell of SC, Ernest Jarrell "Bubby" of WV, Joey Jarrell of NC, one great granddaughter Kierra Jarrell, four great grandsons Gunnar Adams, Kayson Jarrell, Kameron Jarrell, and Jett Fields.

A funeral service will take place for Alice on Thursday August 1, 2024 in the Melton Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Robby Brown officiating at 12:00 pm. The family will accept friends beginning at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
