Amanda Leigh Hughes was born on August 30, 1991 in Beckley, West Virginia to her parents Denver Lee and Kimberly (Makra) Hughes. She went to live with Jesus on Sunday, November 7, 2021 in Charleston, West Virginia at the young age of 30.
Amanda was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Arlie Hughes; maternal grandfather Roger Reed; great-grandmother Maggie Meadows; and her great-aunts Orita Pompie and Patty Johns.
Amanda will be sorely missed by all her surviving family, her daughter Chloe Evelyn Miller; parents Denver Lee and Kimberly (Makra) Hughes; paternal grandmother Phyllis Rossy; maternal grandmother Linda Reed; sisters Stacy Coalson, Christy (Rodney) Harrah, Lindsay (Herb) Inscoe, and Sarah Welch; nephew Lee Welch; her long-time boyfriend, Noah Razor; and many extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
Growing up, Amanda found happiness in cheerleading, gymnastics, and spending time and “singing hymns” with her very best friend and cousin Krista.
She enjoyed riding roller coasters with Lee, listening to music, and most importantly, spending as much time with her sweet baby angel Chloe doing her hair and makeup.
A funeral service celebrating Amanda’s life will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, November 15, 2021 at the Chapel of Melton Mortuary. The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior.
