Amanda Trump Obituary

Amanda Leigh Trump, 43, of Corinne, WV, went to be with her Lord early Tuesday morning, January 7, 2020 after a long and courageous fight with cancer.

Amanda was born October 4, 1976 to James Gordon Stennett and Vicky Jo Wrenn.

Amanda graduated from Mullens High School in 1994.  Amanda was a star cheerleader, people came to watch her flip, as much as they came to watch the game.  Her cheer and tumbling skills even took her to Hawaii to cheer at halftime of the Hula Bowl.  After high school she later attended Marshall University, MSU, and Bluefield State.  Her love and care for humankind led her to graduate as Valedictorian as a RN from her nursing class at Bluefield State.

Amanda did not know a stranger; she loved and saw the good and potential in everyone. Her infectious SMILE could brighten anyone’s day, and her kind words and optimism were unbreakable.  She had so many passions.  She loved couponing, recycling, gardening, playing Hayday (on multiple devices), caring for others, canning, reading her Bible, and most importantly, spending time with family and spreading God’s word.  Amanda always put others before her, and loved being a servant of God, which she led many people to accept Christ as their lord and savior. Amanda also loved her furry friends as well, especially Paco, River, and Tramp.

Amanda found her soulmate in her husband, Jeff Trump.  They married in her favorite place, Myrtle Beach.

All of her passions above were still secondary to the love of her family and God.  Amanda’s true passion was spending time with her daughter Katy, granddaughter Teagan, Jeff, her sisters, her mother and Howard, and her father Jim.  Amanda was the embodiment of family.  Family and God came first, everything else after.

Amanda was proceeded in death by maternal grandparents, Kay and Velva Wilson; paternal grandparents James and Pauline Stennett; brother, Matthew Wrenn; Father-in-law, Prentis Trump.

Those left to carry on Amanda’s memory include her husband, Jeff; daughter, Kaitlyn Birch (Haiden Kimberlin);granddaughter, Teagan “TT” Kimberlin; mother, Vicky Wrenn (Howard); father, James Stennett; sisters, Alycia Stump (Sam), Jessica Lewis (Aaron), Lisa Houck (Jason), and Kimberly Fox (Duke); mother-in-law, Phyllis Trump; a slew of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and her work family at Integrated Resources.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 11th at 2:00 pm in the Melton Mortuary Chapel in Beckley.   The family will receive friends at 12 noon until time of service on Saturday.
