Amy Nicole King

It is with great sadness that we announce (Mother) Dorothy “Dottie” McKinney and (Daughter) Amy Nicole King have gone home to be with the Lord, our God.

On August 12, 1964 Dottie was born to Frank and Bernice Miller. Dottie went home to be with the Lord on January 14, 2022. Dottie is survived by husband Jeff McKinney of Soak Creek, WV and sons Thomas and Chad Mills. Dottie is reunited with brother Connie Miller and sister Patricia “Pat” Morris. On April 3, 1980 Amy King was born to Jesse Alan Daniel and Dorothy “ Dottie” McKinney.

Amy went to be with the Lord on January 11, 2022. Amy is survived by husband Ray King of Beckley WV, father Jesse Daniel, brothers Thomas and Chad Mills, son Isaiah King and grandson Lucian King. Amy has been reunited with step-mother Lisa Carol Estep Daniel.

Both women are also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Amy was a devoted member of Faith Community Church.

Please join us in honoring the lives of Dottie McKinney and Amy King at Melton’s Mortuary in Beckley WV at 6:00 pm with Pastor Sam Peterson officiating. The family will receive friends from 4pm-6pm for visitation and viewing.
