Bernard Crump Obituary
Our dad Bernard Crump 88 of Macarthur, West Virginia gained his angel wings Sunday, January 29th, 2023 after a short illness.
He was born August 1, 1934, in Ury WV to the late Arthur "Boots" and Martha Milam Crump.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Shelva Jean Crump, a great granddaughter Jordan Paige Crump, sister Naoma Griffith and four brothers Robert "Bob", Luther, Bill, and Ed. He was the last surviving member of his family. Bernard was a US Army Veteran and served during the Korean war. He was a coal miner for over forty years, was a true outdoors man, always enjoying hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his daughter Sue Lilly of Lester, two sons Bernie(Tammy) Crump of Sophia, and Mickey(Diannia) Crump of Macarthur, four grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and a special niece Jane Griffith of Circleville Ohio.
In keeping with Bernard's wishes cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Melton Mortuary and cremation center, with no formal services. Words of comfort and condolences may be offered to the family on Bernard's tribute page.
