Betty Ann Evans,73, of Shady Spring, went to be with the Lord on April 17, 2022.
She was surrounded by her family, which she held close and dear to her heart. She was the daughter of the late Carl and Virginia Lilly Wills.
Betty dedicated her life to caring for others. She was a Specialized Home Care Provider for more than 30 years. One thing she enjoyed most was cooking for others and sharing her recipes. Her creativity, yet simplicity, is what set Betty apart and made her unique. Betty's thoughtfulness will be greatly missed, as she had the ability to make others feel special, especially her loved ones. Besides her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband, Roger Lee Evans in 2018,and sister, Connie and a granddaughter Holly Faye.
Betty was blessed with a large and loving family. Those left to cherish her memory include her four brothers Walter, Ricky, Randy, and Ronnie; three sisters Linda, Wanda and Michelle.
Her four loving children, Virginia Ann, Denise, Jennifer and husband Jim, Dennis and wife Brianne.
Her grandchildren include Debbie, Beth, Kenny, Jenny, Kyle, Tristan, Aaron, Samantha, Brandon, Carley, Caleb, Connie, Cami, as well as many great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Betty had a special talent of using humor to get through life's hardships, but we will especially miss her contagious laughter that we shared during the good times.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Betty Ann Evans will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022, at 1:00 PM, with pastor Rodney Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park, Oak Hill, WV. There are so many kinds of hands, but none like the ones I know. They are the hands that guide me, the hands that love me so. They are always busy hands doing things for myself and others. Once they were so young and pretty, the kind you like to see, but through the years, the hands grew old, taking care of us. I will always love these hands like no other, for the hands I tell you about are the hands of my mother.
