The fourth of seven children, “Bet” as she was affectionately called was born on May 26th, 1948, at Justice. She was the daughter of the late Wilson and Dolly Perry Adkins. Her sisters, Mildred Adkins, Anita Peters and Lisa Allen have preceded her in death as well.
Betty spent her childhood at Justice. She attended Gilbert High School. A resident of Beckley the past 25 years, Betty attended Pikeview Christian Church.
Betty will be remembered for playing the piano, making people laugh, working cross word puzzles and most of all the devotion to her family. She has immensely enjoyed reconnecting with long lost friends and extended family on Facebook.
She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted and loving husband, Rickey Dean Williams; she was the beloved mother of Tony Lester and his wife Judith of Buffalo, Cindy Lester of Winfield, Darren Lester and his wife, Donna of Winfield.
