2 Timothy: 4;7-8. " I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course. I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is a crown laid up for me, a crown of righteousness." Our precious dad, Billy "Nickie" Jackson Belcher left us for his eternal home on Sunday, April 6th, 2025. Born on June 19, 1939 in Algoma, West Virginia he was the son of the late Wiley Belcher, and Bertha Watkins-Belcher.

He served in the US army from 1956-1959. Upon returning from the army he worked for many years in the drywall and coal mining industries. He has ministered for over forty years in the Church of God. Up until his passing he was the pastor for Hotchkiss Church of God. A very devout man he loved preaching, and spreading the gospel of Jesus' love. He was a musician as well loving playing his beloved mandolin. He enjoyed in his spare time flea marketing, selling and buying many treasures. He was known as "Preacher" by a lot of his buddies.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife of 66 years Sybil Belcher, brothers Edward, Bobby, Buddy, and Jack, and sisters Gail, and Barbara. Those left behind to cherish his memories are his wife Nancy Belcher, son Billy J. Belcher Jr.(Kimberly) of Michigan, daughters Sherry Kincaid(Emory) of WV, Deidre " Dreama" Wheatley(Danny) of Michigan, stepdaughter Mitzi Combs of WV, grandchildren, Emory Kincaid(Anna), Ashley Canady, Marissa Post(Calvin), Danny Wheatley(Olivia), Billy Belcher III(Christina), Alex Belcher(Chrystal), and Brandon, great-grandchildren, Ethan, Savannah, Everleigh, brother Wiley "Sonny" Belcher(Dixie) of WV, sisters Linda Christian of Michigan, and Judy Johnson(Butch), and many other nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will all miss Billy dearly.

A funeral service will take place for Reverend Belcher on Friday April 11, 2025 at 10:00am in the Melton Mortuary Chapel with Brother Jerry Cantley, and Brother Danny Pettry officiating. The family will accept friends beginning at 9:00am. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton WV.
