Billy Gene Jameson

Billy Gene Jameson, 91, of Beckley, peacefully passed away on July 10, 2020 at Peyton

Hospice House, Lewisburg, WV.

Bill was born February 18, 1929 to William and Christine Jameson in Ronceverte, WV.

Bill was married to his loving wife, Nancy, for 70 years. They had a long and happy life

together.

He was a member of the United Methodist Temple, Beckley. He served his country in the US

Army during the Korean War. He was a surgical nurse with the medical corps M.A.S.H. unit in

Korea. He was a printer for BJW Printers for 34 years. He enjoyed fly fishing and square

dancing. Bill loved being with his family, especially the grandchildren and the great-grandchild.

Other than his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Dr. Rudy Turner.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Nancy. Sons Dr. Kent Jameson (Ann), Union, WV, and

Jeffrey Jameson (Helen), Daniels, WV. Daughter Dr. Laura Turner, Jonesboro, AR.

Grandchildren Tyler (Tim), Nick, Caroline, Elizabeth, Logan and Victoria. Great-grandchild

Toulouse.

There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be on July 31 at Melton Mortuary at 3pm.

Please wear a face mask. Social distancing will be observed. The family wishes memorial

contributions be made to Peyton Hospice House, 1265 Maplewood Avenue, Lewisburg, WV
