Billy Paul Smith, age 84, of Wriston, West Virginia, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, West Virginia.

Billy was born on January 21, 1941 in Mossy, West Virginia, a son of the late William Blue Smith and Bertha Lee Likens-Smith. His lifelong trade was as a mechanic. Billy loved to tinker and work on cars. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family and especially his fur baby Xena.

In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his son Billy Paul Smith Jr.; two brothers, James Smith, and Howard Smith; and three sisters, Rosie Mills, Mary Hardy, and Louise Bishop.

Those left behind to forever hold and cherish Billy's memory are his four sons John Wayne Smith(Jennifer), William Conway Smith, Hayden Martin(Melissa), and David Richardson, fifteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; sister Brenda Lorene Jones; beloved fur baby Xena, and many other nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will all miss Billy dearly.
