Bonnie Diane Jarrell, 70, of Beaver, formerly of Eunice, WV, went home to be with the Lord on January 24, 2026 at the Beckley Healthcare Center after a long illness. She was born on May 5, 1955, to the late Raymond and Sadie Phelps of Jarrolds Valley, WV.

In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her brother Steve Phelps.

She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Gary T. Jarrell, her son Brian Jarrell, and his wife Ashley also of Beaver, and her four precious grandchildren, Sophia, Amelia, Brody, and Jonah whom she loved dearly. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Regina(Jarrell) Arthur of Smithers, and a loving nephew, Terry Lee Jarrell, Jr. of Eunice.

Bonnie graduated from Marsh Fork High School, class of 1972 and attended Center College in Charleston, WV, where she earned her secretarial degree. She worked at Jarrell's market in Whitesville, and the WV Commission on Aging in Charleston. Later she worked for the Raleigh County Board of Education as a coach, and secretary.

Bonnie adored the children of the Marsh Fork area, and donated her time freely volunteering at various school and community activities. She was a past Noble Grand of the Whitesville Laboka Rebecca Lodge. Sh was also a past President of the Big Coal River Little League where she worked constantly to improve the conditions for the kids in the area and to make their lives a little more enjoyable. Bonnie also volunteered her time at various local church functions including working several days a week at the Good Samaritan thrift store in Whitesville. She was also a very important part of the Jarrell Family Racing team, where she traveled to various race tracks with the family in support of their drag racing activities over several years. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A private graveside service will take place for Bonnie on Monday February 2, 2026 where she will be laid to rest at Pineview Cemetery in Orgas, WV. A celebration of her life will take place at a later date.
