Brenda Carol Foster
Brenda Carol Hilton Foster, 72 of Beckley, WV, was called home to be with the Lord on May 7, 2020.
Born July 15, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Clinton Walter Hilton and the late Margaret Bower Smith and wife of 52 years to the late Raymond Franklin Foster. She was also preceded in death by a brother Edwin Carlton Bowling.
Left to cherish her memory are one son Joseph Foster and his wife Yvette, one sister Debbie Kaplan and her husband Maury, one brother Keith Bowling and his wife Yvette (Sissy), one granddaughter Sabrina Sargent, and four step grandchildren Stephen, Thomas, and Craig Calzado and Jennifer McGlasson, three great grandchildren Evan, Landon, and Kylie and eight step great grandchildren Sebastian, Jeffery, Tristan, Averie, Bralen, Shayleigh, Bryleigh, and Asher. Also surviving Brenda are two nephews, Christian and Jared Kaplan, and one niece, Kara Bowling Miller.
Brenda was a long time member of the Beckley Chapter Women of the Moose and served in every seat within the chapter as well as many seats within her district and state. She held the highest degree possible within the Women of the Moose as Past Regent and traveled many times to the Child City Mooseheart, IL and served and supported the many children there.
Brenda was a member of Jones Memorial Baptist Church, where she had served as the Youth Director in her younger years. Brenda loved the work she did with the children.
Services will be held at 12:30 p.m., Sunday, May 10th, at Melton Mortuary. Graveside rites will follow at Lilly Cemetery in Ghent with Pastor Rick Metrick officiating.
