Brenda was born January 3, 1945 in Jonben, West Virginia, a daughter of Orville "Curtis" and Rachael Elizabeth Pegram. She married the love of her life, Kenneth "Kenny" Lee Greer on October 27, 1961. Brenda and Kenneth spent 58 wonderful years bickering and loving each other until Kenneth passed in 2019.

Brenda was a family woman through and through. She loved every moment she got to spend with her family. Brenda especially loved being a great-grandmother and helped make them the people they are today. She loved spending time teaching them life skills and was often found playing with them.
In Brenda's free time, she loved to grow flowers and listen to the birds. She spent many hours in her garden making the perfect beds for her Irises to grow. Brenda also loved to read. She would read anything she could get her hands on and often gave her family her own reviews and recommendations. Brenda especially loved the time she spent reading her bible. Brenda was a long-time member of the Fireco Independent Baptist Church.
Brenda did what she could to help the community of Fireco. She had taken on many projects to help make Fireco a beautiful place to live.
