Brian Mills Obituary
We regrettably announce the unexpected passing of our dear son and brother, Brian Daniel Mills, 46, of Coal City. He passed away on November 9, 2022.
Brian is preceded in death by his late wife, Maryann (Byrd) Mills; and his mother, Kathy D. Lilly (Hatfield). He leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, Cameron Mills; his father, Gary Michael (Jean) Mills, Sr., step-father, Eddie Alan Lilly of Meade, his granny, Molly Mullins; brothers Gary (Renae) Mills, Jr. of Sophia, WV and Barry Lilly of Meade, WV; nephews Travis (Chelsey) and Chris (Kelsey) Mills, and Archie Lilly; great-nieces Aubrey, Jenna and Gracie; great-nephew Brayden; and his special friend, Peggy McCracken.
Brian enjoyed riding motorcycles, singing, and just loved playing his bass guitar. He liked to spend time in nature fishing and enjoying the scenery.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Brian will be laid to rest at the Mills Family Cemetery in Soak Creek following the service. Words of comfort and condolences may be offered to the family by visiting www.meltonmortuary.com
