Carl Plumley Obituary

Carl Warren Plumley passed away suddenly on June 3rd, 2023. He was born on August 26th, 1950 to the late Thomas Franklin Plumley and Easter Marie Plumley.
Carl has joined the love of his life, Miss Jane and their 2 Golden Retrievers, Sadie and Sallie, 3 of his brothers, Randall, Rick and David and he leaves behind his brother Mike and wife Vicky to cherish his memory.
His daughter, Kristina Marie Plumley (Krissie) and her 3 children, Daniel, Kaytlin and Dustin along with his son James Matthew Plumley and his 3 children, Corey, Joseph and Carah are deeply saddened by their loss.
Carl was a hippie at heart. He loved all things in nature and enjoyed making his house his home. He was a Navy Veteran and admired the ships he worked on. He enjoyed building model cars, airplanes, and ships. He also loved old vintage cars, and passed that admiration down to his daughter, Krissie.
He traveled the world with his job and has seen things we could only dream of. He captured many photos and loved showing them off to his friends.
Speaking of friends, he had so many! Their stories will carry on for many years. He loved throwing get-togethers and cooking for everyone. Their happiness was important to him.
Carl's wishes were to be carried out by the WV School of Osteopathic Medicine. Unfortunately, they were unable to accept him as a donation. Therefore, he will be cremated as part of his wishes. There will be a party is his honor on his birthday, August 26th, 2023, with a location to be determined at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made in his memory to the WV School of Osteopathic Medicine Human Gift Registry or a local animal shelter of your choice.
