Carlos Jennings Martin, Jr., age 86, of Sullivan Rood, Glen Morgan, went to
be with the Lord peacefully in his sleep on September 24, 2024. Jennings was born at Glen Morgan to the late Carlos Jennings Martin and Nora Ellen Smith Martin on February 10, 1938.

Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved son, Greg Martin & his
wife. Andrea of Glen Morgan. his granddaughter Katie Martin, sister Connie
Ward, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jennings was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Patty, and sisters
Arlene Yarbrough and Maxine Pendleton.

He was a 1956 graduate of Shady Spring High School, and had 50 years as
a Mason. Jennings was a member and deacon of Clifftop Missionary Baptist Church in Beaver.

Jennings was employed many years in the excavation business. He was an
owner/operator af An-Mart Excavating, and retired as Superintendent of District
10 Dis-Force.

Jennings enjoyed hunting and fishing, gardening, good food, and country
drives. He loved riding on his Harley, sitting on his front porch, watching the
wildlife on his property, and the Shady Spring graduating class monthly breakfast
at Bob Evans. Jennings loved life and appreciated everything anyone did for him.

A funeral service will be held 12:00pm, Friday, September 27,2024 at Clifftop Missionary Baptist Church, Airport Rd., Beaver, West Virginia with Pastor Keith Manning officiating. Friends may visit with the family at the church from 10:00am-12:00pm. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
