Carrie Louise Clemons, age 70, of Fairdale, West Virginia,  passed away Friday, July 4, 2025 after a battle with illness. 

She was born September 25, 1954 in Columbus, Ohio, a daughter of Robert "Bob" and Edna Allen . Carrie married the love of her life,  Eric Guy Clemons and they spent a wonderful 21 years together before her passing. 

Carrie enjoyed spending time with her husband, looking at blue skies and cloud formations, working on diamond art, and being outside. She enjoyed spending time with family. It always brought a smile to her face. She loved to watch her squirrels and birds while swinging on the front porch. Dining out was easy as long as they had chicken on the menu. She enjoyed working as a Pharmacy Technician at the Glen Daniel Pharmacy until she retired. 

Carrie is preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Edna Allen; son, Michael Blankenship; and her first husband, Jack Blankenship. 

She is survived by her loving husband, Eric Guy Clemons of Fairdale, WV; son, Jason (Melinda) Blankenship of Sophia, WV; brothers, Hobert (Joyce) Allen of Fairdale, WV and James (Patty) Allen of Rock Creek, WV; many cousins including special cousins, Tammy Sauls and Johnny Allen of Fairdale, WV; nieces; nephews; 2 grandsons; 1 great-granddaughter; and brother-in-law, Earl Clemons of Fairdale, WV. 

A Private Graveside Service will be held for her family to honor Carrie's life.
