Cathy Ann (Arbaugh) Davis

Cathy Ann Davis, age 65, of Beckley, West Virginia, passed away Friday, May 12, 2023 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, West Virginia, after a courageous two year battle with cancer.
Cathy is preceded in death by her mother Betty Arbaugh.
Those left behind to forever cherish and hold her memory close are her husband of 48 years Michael Davis of Beckley, son Wesley Davis and wife Michele of Beckley, father Earl Arbaugh of Mabscott, granddaughters, Kyra and Jaina Davis of Beckley, two sisters Cindy Chromek of New Bern NC, Sandy Kelly and husband David Simmons of Sophia, dear friends Cindy Trent and Patty Hartenstein of Beckley, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family who will all miss Cathy dearly.

Cathy was a devout christian woman, and a lifetime member of the Mabscott United Methodist Church, She worked for Webb's Wholesale for 32 years. She enjoyed reading; especially collecting numerous cookbooks, cooking for her family, loved camping, traveling to the beach with her family and friends, and was an avid music lover, especially Tom Petty and The Beatles. She especially adored her two granddaughters who attended church with her and who always enjoyed spending time with her as well.

A Celebration of Life will take place for Cathy on Monday May, 22nd 2023 at 130pm. The family will receive visitors beginning at 12 noon at the Melton Mortuary Chapel with the Reverend Betsy Evans officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Cathy's wonderful memory to the Bowers Hospice House at 454 Cranberry Drive Beckley, West Virginia 25801.
