Cecil Raymond Canaday Jr.

Cecil Raymond Canaday Jr. 68, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 30th, 2020 at Raleigh General Hospital following a short illness. Born March 26th, 1952 in Beckley he was the son of the late Cecil Raymond and Clara Francis Bailey Canaday.

Cecil loved to spend time with granddaughter, fish, and sit on the back porch and watch the deer.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn Meadows.

He is survived by his son Jeremy and his wife Kellie Canaday of Bradley, his granddaughter Brooke Canaday also of Bradley, two sisters, Donna and husband David Hughes of Tazewell VA, Patty, and husband Darrell Painter of Beckley WV. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Graveside services will be held at 2 PM on Monday, July 6th, 2020 in the mausoleum in Sunset Memoria Park on Harper Road in Beckley with Pastor Fred Lovell officiating. Friends may call on the family at the Sunset Memorial Park mausoleum from 1 PM until the time of service.
