Charles "Jake" Jacobowski Jr.

Charles “Jake” Jacobowski Jr., 66 of Oak Hill, West Virginia went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 13, 2020 at his home.  Born November 1, 1954, he was the son of the late Charles and Beatrice (Eads) Jacobowski Sr.

Jake is preceded in death by his parents and his sisters Grace and Kay.  He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 38 years, Belinda (Blake) Jacobowski; daughter Keri Jacobowski; son Jared Jacobowski; second daughter Shyanne Boothe; second son Austin Smith; grandchildren Kaidence Donnelly, Kiley Donnelly, and Karlee Smith; sisters Annette (Mike) Foster, Judy (Pete) Addis, and Sue Jenkins; he was blessed with several other sons, Preston, John, Paul, Chase, Austin, Ben, Steve, and TJ; daughters Kim and Holley, and many extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.

Jake enjoyed playing tennis and especially playing in tennis tournaments with his wife Belinda.  He loved music, camping, going to the beach, and most importantly, spending time with his children and grandchildren.  Jake enjoyed many years of coaching basketball and assisting with soccer games for his children.  He was always his daughter’s #1 Cheerleader and his son’s #1 Coach.  He was a jokester who loved to pick around and have fun.  He loved everyone and never met a stranger.  “Smiles to the Miles!”

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the Oak Hill Church of the Nazarene and parishioners for their help and generosity and a special thank you to the staff of Hospice of Southern West Virginia.

A Memorial Celebration of Jake’s life will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Oak Hill Church of the Nazarene 1913 Main St E, Oak Hill, WV 25901 with Pastor Dan officiating.  For those who wish to attend, facial coverings and social distancing is required.  Words of comfort may be offered to the family at www.meltonmortuary.com  Melton Mortuary and Cremation Center has been entrusted with cremation arrangements.
