Connie Amber Polries

Connie Amber Polries, 38, of Midway WV, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021. Born on November 9, 1982 in Berkeley CA, she was the daughter of the late Charles ‘Bucky’ Polries and Evelena Kay Polries. 
Those left to cherish her memory include her two daughters whom she devoted her life to and loved more than words can say, Skylar Dawn Harris, 15, and Emily Paige Graybeal, 12, both of Midway WV; a sister Christine Polries and a niece Raegan Price, both of Beckley WV; a sister, Madelene Taranto and husband Rick, of California; two brothers, John Polries and Michael Polries, both of California; a special aunt and uncle, Connie Giammerino Smith (who was like a second mother to Amber) and Russ Oldfather, of Florida; an aunt, Mereda Myers of Tennessee; an uncle, Ricky Williams and wife Anita, of Artie WV; her best friend of 32 years, Jessica Perryman of Fairdale WV, as well as a host of extended family and friends who will miss her dearly. 
Amber was known for her love of her family. She was loving, compassionate, and hilarious. To know Amber was to love her. She leaves us with the memory of her dimpled smile, eyes that sparkled, and a contagious laugh. 
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
