Cynthia Marie Mikota 

Born March 11, 1953 - passed March 23, 2020

When I hear that name I think about my beautiful mother, but there’s so many things that name means to different people. She was not only a loving mother, but also an incredible sister, grandmother, friend, aunt, girlfriend and so much more. She had a contagious laugh, and a smile that would brighten any room. You never imagine losing someone, it isn’t something that you can prepare yourself for but knowing she passed peacefully at home with family by her side leaves you with comfort. Everyone who loves her will always remember her, and keep her legacy living for years to come. 

She was preceeded in death by her parents, Theodore and Katherine Collier, and two of her sons Joshua Nicholas Wroten, and Kevin Michael Gilliam. 

She is celebrated and remembered by her children, Brandon Bowling, John Patrick Howells, Emily Wroten, Sara Wroten, and Cheyenne Wroten; also a step son Jeremy Wroten; her loving boyfriend, Danny Goddard; her sister whom loved and cared for her dearly, Cheryl Cox; her brother, Timothy Collier; and nieces, Danielle Collier, Kiersten Collier, Samantha Myers and Andrea Rahall Also nephews Sean Rahall, Kris Rahall, Gary Myers, and Max Myers. She will also be missed by all of her grandchildren who loved their “Mawmaw CinCin”.

A Service for the family will be held on Friday, March 27th at 4:00 pm in the Melton Mortuary Chapel.
