Damion Zackery Rose Workman, of Daniels, WV passed away on the morning of September 17, 2024 at the age of 19. Damion was adopted into the Workman family on November 22, 2019, and officially became the son of Earl (Clint) Workman and Cristine Workman.

You could find Damion fishing at Little Beaver for hours at a time. He loved to hunt and trap, but would kindly release the animals if his sister asked him to. Damion shared the joy of baseball with his brother, Christion, and was always watching his games from the bleachers. He was so supportive of all of his siblings.

Damion had overcome addiction as well as many hurdles that he encountered through his life, and was working on the next steps to chase his dreams. His family couldn't be more proud of him and everything he has accomplished.

Damion was preceded in death by his pawpaw Okey and his pawpaw Max.

Damion is survived by his parents, his brothers: Christion, Andy, Chris, Bryan, and Carson; sisters: Ericka, Brittany, Natalie, and Aubree; and nieces and nephews Riley, Ronin, Addy, and Brooke. Damion was loved by many other friends and family members, including his fiance: Alex Shrewsbury, his grandparents: Larry and Janet Hodges and Jewel Workman, as well as his very spoiled furbabies: Church and Lucifer.

Damion was dedicated to helping people. He would literally give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. Damion had a huge heart for his friends and family, and never failed to say "I love you" before hugging you goodbye. He was truly a friend to every person he met.

Services are being held on September 20th at Family Worship Center, 224 Pinewood Drive in Beckley, WV 25801 at 3 pm. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Sound Mind, Inc. of Lester, WV.
