Danny Keith Goddard

Danny Keith Goddard, 69, of Beckley lost his courageous fight on May 22, 2021 surrounded by his family. Born November 16, 1951 on Backus Mountain, WV to the late Oscar and Alma Goddard.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Kenny Goddard; and his companion of 13 years, Cynthia Mikota.

Danny was a retired coal miner & later retired as park service maintenance at Babcock State Park.  He was currently employed with Wal-Mart in Beckley. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He selflessly devoted his life to his family.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters Lorna Stover and her husband, Clifton of Mount Hope, WV and Cristina Rudd and her husband, Shannon of Rainelle, WV; granddaughter Savanna Wilson and her husband Matthew; grandsons Hunter and his wife Brittney and Braydon Stover, Tyler, Noah, & Logan Rudd; ex-wife of 37 years, Carol Goddard; brother Raymond and his wife, Carolyn Goddard; sister Peggy Duncan; sister Carlese "Carol" D'Andrea; along with many nieces, nephews & co-workers who will miss him dearly.
