Darlene Adonica Meadows

Darlene Adonica Meadows, age 74, of Mount Hope, West Virginia,  passed away Sunday, July 13, 2025 after a battle with illness. 

She was born July 6, 1951 in Ronceverte, West Virginia, a daughter of Edgar and Hilda Crookshanks. Darlene married the love of her life, William Nathan Meadows Sr and spent many wonderful years together before his passing. 

Darlene was a family person. She loved spending time with them, especially her grandbabies. They had many happy memories together that will last a lifetime. Also, she enjoyed crocheting and had an obsession with black and white cows. Darlene had a very EXTENSIVE cow collection. 

She was reunited with her husband, William Nathan Meadows Sr; son, Robert Allen Meadows; and daughter, Crystal Dawn Meadows.  

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, William Nathan Meadows II and his wife April Dawn Nutter and Gavin Ray Meadows and his fiance Lillian Grey Judy; grandaughter, Kaitlin Ivy Legg and fiance Brandon Michael Gill; and grandsons, William Wayne Meadows, Brody Grayson Meadows, and Don Richard Cruse III. 

In accordance with her wishes, Darlene will be cremated. A memorial will be held in her honor at a later date. Donations can be made to help the family at the following link:
