Dave Edward Stafford, Jr

Dave Edward Stafford Jr, age 55, of Beckley, West Virginia, was called home on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, West Virginia.

Dave was born July 01,1967 in Raleigh, North Carolina, a son of Dave and Frances Stafford. He married the love of his life, Kimberly Dawn Massie on August 17, 1997 in Pier point WV. He is greeted at Heaven's gates by his mother Frances Gillispie Stafford, and father in law Gillis Massie.


He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years Kimberly Dawn Stafford of Beckley, WV, his parents Dave, and Connie Stafford, two sisters Cindy, and Sandy, mother in law Vivian Massie, two special nephews, and two special nieces, and many other extended family and friends who will all miss him dearly.

Dave was a US Navy, US Army, and WV National Guard Veteran, and he was a Lieutenant of the Raleigh County Sheriff's office. Dave was an avid golfer always enjoying playing especially at Twin Falls, and Glade Springs, and watching the PGA tour, Dave was also an avid WVU Mountaineer Fan always rooting for the Blue and Gold no matter win or lose, he was also a fan of the Las Vegas Raiders, and even the North Carolina State Wolf pack.

A celebration of Dave's life will be held on Thursday April 27, 2023 at 1 O'Clock PM at the Family Worship Center in Beckley, West Virginia, the family will receive visitors two hours prior.

Memorial contributions may be made in Dave's memory and honor to Bowers Hospice House, the Raleigh County Sheriff's office, and Herndon Freewill Baptist Church.
