David Scott "Scotty" Davis

David Scott (Scotty) Davis, 29 of Mabscott passed away December 29th, 2020 following an undiagnosed illness he had suffered with over the last several years. Born June 19th, 1991 in Beckley he is the son of David and Susan Jarrell Davis of Mabscott.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents James and Shirley Jarrell, paternal grandfather, James Davis, one uncle, James Jarrell Jr., one aunt, Tina” Nene” Gadomski, and a special friend Tanis Fields.

Scotty was attending nursing school and was a United States Army veteran where he served as a member of the Military Police. Scotty was an avid fisherman and hunter who also enjoyed target shooting when he was not riding his side by side or playing video games with his children.

Besides his parents, Scotty is survived by his wife Chanda Southers, three children, Ezekiel, Aryah, Emmanuel all at home, one sister, Kessa Davis and soon to be brother-in-law Justin Axley of both of Beckley, and his parental grandmother, Carolyn Davis of Mabscott. Many aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

Scotty wished to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date and will be announced on social media.
